I was born and raised in San Diego, California, and lived in University City (attending both Standley and UCHS) until I moved away to Davis, California to attend the University of California, Davis. After Davis, where I received a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a minor in Education, it was off to Sacramento State, where I received my teaching credential. Once I was done with school, it was time to come back home and start teaching. It's safe to say that I've been quite involved at Standley Middle School during the tenure at Standley Middle; I've taught a variety of subjects, including Math, Social Studies, English, Study Skills, Journalism, Multimedia, ASB, and now Exploring Computer and Physical Education. I've traveled with the Standley staff and students on all our grade level trips multiple times, and have been an active member of all our Standley Committees. |
